Job Title: Account Executive (Trend Media)

 

 

Primary objective of the job: 

 

The Account Executive is a key member of the Trend Media team, responsible for managing client relationships and driving business growth. As an Account Executive, you will understand clients’ objectives and provide strategic guidance on digital and traditional marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams in Trend Media, to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and deliver exceptional results. This role requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and digital marketing expertise. Trend Media is a division of Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and target audience to develop effective digital and traditional marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and status updates to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

 

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Identify opportunities to drive business growth and maximize ROI for clients through innovative marketing strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.

 

  • Campaign Management:
  • Coordinate with Trend Media’s internal teams (creative, social media, sales, paid media, etc.) to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the implementation of campaigns, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

 

  • Business Development:
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Participate in sales presentations and proposal development, showcasing Trend Media’s capabilities and expertise.

 

  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Share knowledge and insights with internal teams, contributing to the agency's continuous improvement and innovation.

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2 - 4 years) as an Account Executive or similar role in a digital agency or marketing/advertising agency.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, SEO, paid advertising, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present strategic digital marketing plans to clients

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Be ambitious, driven and passionate about all things related to digital marketing, apps and music, with an excellent comprehension of how the industry works and the key world players.
  • Have polished presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Have an adaptive style in being able to communicate often technical ideas in simple terms.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player, capable of working closely and collaborating with various functional areas within the business.
