ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR

 The successful candidate will be required to satisfy the following:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Management Studies; ACCA level II or equivalent
• A minimum of three (3) years working experience in Auditing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ACL
• Working knowledge of accounting practices and principles and the application of auditing techniques and standards
• Good written and oral communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work on own initiative

 Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the risk based analysis of the business processes.
• Assisting in the Audit planning process.
• Performing complete/sectional Audit of our Stores island-wide.
• Performing surprise cash/inventory counts at all Stores/locations.
• Performing Audits on financial statements assertions.
• Performing Special Investigations as the need arise.
• Conducting Audit of both Warehouse and Service Departments.
• Clearing exceptions produced by ACL in a timely manner.
• Submitting Audit Reports for work performed on a timely basis.
• Clearing review notes in a timely manner.
• Submitting time sheets on a weekly basis for review.

Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle.
