AREA SALES MANAGER - MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA

JOB TITLE: AREA SALES MANAGER - MONTEGO BAY, ST. JAMES

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Direct and monitor the depot operations and the sales team with the aim of achieving prescribed sales targets and monthly quotas; assist with the development of plans and strategies to increase sales.
• Review monthly salesmen quota and provide assistance in planning for the servicing of customers
• Provide technical advice, guidance and on the job training for salesmen in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor salesmen performance to ensure individual sales targets are achieved 
• Review daily recaps to ensure accurate preparation and balancing; monitor uncollected bills, identify and investigate irregularities and take corrective action as necessary
• Conduct customer visits, investigate, follow up and provide solutions to customer complaints, problems or issues so as to establish  and maintain appropriate client relationships
• Monitor shelf facings, racks, inventory and competitive promotions or activities in the marketplace
• Prepare key sales department reports
• Conduct scheduled stock audits at retail outlets

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Management Studies or Business Administration
• Minimum of Four (4) CXC/CSEC subjects includingEnglish and Mathematics
• Minimum Sales Experience (5 years) in a similar capacity
