Kiss Baking Company (Jamaica) is seeking to recruit an Area Sales Manager (Montego Bay, St. James) who will direct and monitor the Depot Supervisor, Sales Contractors and Sales Assistants with the aim of achieving prescribed sales targets and monthly quotas; and will assist with the development of plans and strategies to increase sales.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Review monthly salesmen quota and provide assistance in planning for the servicing of customers
• Provide technical advice, guidance and on the job training for salesmen in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor salesmen performance to ensure individual sales targets are achieved 
• Review daily recaps to ensure accurate preparation and balancing; monitor uncollected bills, identify and investigate irregularities and take corrective action as necessary
• Conduct customer visits, investigate, follow up and provide solutions to customer complaints, problems or issues so as to establish  and maintain appropriate client relationships
• Monitor shelf facings, racks, inventory and competitive promotions or activities in the marketplace
• Prepare key sales department reports
• Conduct scheduled stock audits at retail outlets

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate team members
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Good oral and written communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Management Studies or Business Administration
• Minimum of Four (4) CXC/CSEC subjects includingEnglish and Mathematics
• Minimum Sales Experience (5 years) in a similar capacity
