ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of Marketing - Insights & Foresights.
The person will be responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Brand Marketing Department through the preparation of competition reports, purchasing and contract materials, the provision of clerical support and in liaising with internal and external partners to ensure the success of the department’s projects.
Reports to: Marketing Deployment Executive
Reporting Level: Junior Level
Geographic Scope: Guyana and Suriname
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Create requisitions using the procure to pay process in SAP.
- Process invoices and purchase orders through SAP in accordance with the standards outlined in the company’s procurement process.
- Liaise with the Finance department from time to time to ensure that payments are made on time to suppliers.
- Prepare contracts for events and send to Marketing Deployment Executive(MDE) for approval before printing & Marketing Deployment Manager (MDM) for final sign off upon approval
- Work with the Marketing Deployment Executive (MDE) to ensure that all contracts are signed and recorded with the department before events.
- Provide support to the Marketing Deployment Executive (MDE) in liaising with suppliers to ensure that quotations, product/ service requisitions and invoices are delivered and addressed in a timely manner.
- Package marketing material for use by Trade Marketing Executives (TMEs) during corporate events.
- Provide administrative support departmental projects by communicating with internal and external partners.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s Degree or about to graduate in Marketing/ Finance/ Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 1 to 3 years’ experience in Administration/ Marketing
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Publisher
- Attention to detail
- Excellent business writing skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good presentation skills
