Promote and market wire rope products and services to a diverse customer base, meet customer needs and establish new business.
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our wire rope products, including specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.
Devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, address their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Update the Divisional Manager on all activities and customer visits and assist with formulating marketing strategy/plans.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals for customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a network and promote our products.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and other relevant information.
Prepare and submit sales reports within the deadline.
Meet and exceed sales targets for the sale of assigned products, establish goals for payment of invoices, and conversion of delivery notes to invoices.
Receive customer feedback and follow up accordingly.
Coordinate deliveries, and technical training seminars for our customers and conduct regular client visits.
Follow up on all business leads.
Continuously source suppliers that complement and improve our existing product and service offering.
Provide marketing information on customers’ needs and competition.
Generate purchase orders, quotations, delivery notes, and transfer notes.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Administration
Sales Certification
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years experience in Wire Rope/ Rigging Environment with three years in a Sales environment.
