Warehouse operation Team Leader

The Warehouse Operations Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to staff.
Operations Coordination:
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of goods.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Logistics and Planning:
Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions for efficiency.
Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics.
Monitor and improve warehouse processes and workflows.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inventory, transactions, and team performance.
Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations and present findings to senior management.
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.
Good understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in warehouse operations.
