The incumbent is expected to facilitate warehouse activities, through safe and efficient handling of materials.

Bryden pi Ltd, one of the leading channel-focused distributors of Consumer, Health and Personal Care products in Trinidad and Tobago is on the lookout for the ideal candidate to join our unique family in the position of WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT within our Operations Division.

Some Main Responsibilities include: 

 

 

  • Ensure that goods are picked as per customer orders. Effective picking must accurate, timely and should also ensure that the condition of the product is of suitable quality and condition prior to delivery.
  • Ensure all damaged goods are isolated and highlighted to the stock team in a timely manner. Ensure that the work area is clean and remove all unwanted waste material including, but not limited to, shrink wrap and other packaging materials.
  • Ensure lane maintenance is conducted daily by ensuring all pallets are levelled and stock is cleaned and dusted in the assigned area.
  • Ensure items are properly shrink wrapped after verified by clerk/supervisor.
  • Ensure that during the replenishment process, the lot# and expiry date are correct as per system/physical stock.
  • Ensure accuracy of bins through physical count to match system quantity, lot# and expiry date.
  • Ensure participation in yearly stock counts as assigned by management.
  • Ensure equipment such as pallet jacks and RF guns are handled responsibly and damages or issues are reported to a supervisor immediately.
  • All stock received through shipments or Returns to Stock must be accurately putaway into the assigned location, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
  • Assist the Stock Specialist by ensuring stock and bin variances are investigated and corrected in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

Qualification, Experience and Requirement: 

  • Three (3) C.X.C./O’ level passes which must include Mathematics and English
  • Little or no experience required. Experience in a similar environment will be an asset
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
  • Must provide a valid Police Certificate of Good Character
