Lubricating Specialties Company Jamaica Limited is recruiting a talented qualified Warehouse Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure customer orders are filled accurately, on time, and with the highest attention to quality
• Ensure accurate control of warehouse material by implementing best-in-class cycle counting practices with minimal losses
• Ensure FIFO flow of warehouse materials
• Prepare and review key indicator reports with management monthly, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and staff utilization.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective measures
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
• Maintain receiving, distribution, and warehousing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and procedures
• Constantly strive to improve efficiency in all areas ensuring the required levels of performance, work standards, service, and quality are achieved
• Maintain and ensure all AEO standards and requirements are met

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience with a thorough understanding of logistics and best warehouse practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Sound understanding of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Excellent organizational and scheduling skills and awareness of Quality Management Systems are desirable
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a proactive attitude
• A keen eye for detail and safety
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven experience in managing and leading small to medium size teams in fast-moving warehouse environments
• Ability to empower, develop and lead teams to improve KPI’s
