Traffic Coordinator

Job Function

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for preparing the Daily Program logs for transmission and ensuring orders are processed accurately and timely; maintains a record of all Broadcast material and updates continually. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Schedule booking orders for broadcast daily.
2. Liaise with advertising agencies and sales representatives when necessary for rebroadcast material and follow-up on requests.
3. Work with Traffic Manager in maintaining consistency between broadcast logs and the daily programme schedule.
4. Notify the Traffic Manager of discrepancies as they occur.
5. Maintain and update client files.
6. Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate in Business, Management or a related discipline
• Experience in a similar position will be an asset
• At least two (2) years’ experience in the media industry is preferred
• Working knowledge of Traffic systems will be an asset
