The Technical Support Coordinator will work with the Group I.T. Team to determine I.T. objectives to improve business outcomes.
We are seeking to recruit suitable candidates for the following position in our Information Technology Department:
TECHNICHAL SUPPORT COORDIANTOR
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement protocols for the standardized use of I.T. equipment across Departments within the various Divisions across the Brydens Group.
- Liaise with End-users and Brydens Group’s I.T. Support Teams to ensure smooth and seamless communication and the fastest possible help and fixes to the End User.
- Monitor the Brydens Group’s I.T. Help Desk to ensure maximum efficiency and ensure the resolution of reported issues.
- Maintain the required software licenses, and ensure upgrade schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
- Work with other professionals in the I.T. Department to maintain high standards and consistently confer with other Divisions across the Brydens Group, regarding project priorities and progress; participate in planning, progress, and design review meetings.
- Coordinate resolution of complex and technical problems and system changes that affect the work of the various Divisions across the Brydens Group.
- Coordinate and conduct special assignments or projects as required.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures and ensure they are carried out.
- Analyze I.T. requirements and provide objective advice on the use of I.T.
- Performs other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A Diploma or Associated Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- A minimum of two (2) years in a similar position.
- Or a relevant combination of training and experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Prior experience with network support and management is an asset
- Prior experience assisting with Help Desk issues
