SUPERVISOR – EWARTON BRANCH
Core Functions
The Incumbent is accountable for providing leadership and management of the team and contributing to the achievement of the achievement of the Revenue, Service Delivery, Growth and Satisfaction strategies in compliance with the Credit Union’s Regulations, Policies and Procedures in order that the Mission, Vision and Major Targets for JPS & Partners Credit Union are met.
Major Job responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Actively participates in the development and effective execution of the strategic plan, operational plan and budget for the Branch.
- Provide leadership in the Branch’s new member acquisition process in order to strengthen the Credit Union’s member base.
- Provide effective leadership, management and motivation for the Team Members to ensure the timely achievement of the Credit Union’s objectives and targets.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of monthly performance reports on the activities of the Branch and provide solutions for any performance variances specifically related to Branch.
- Participate in policy development, policy review and strategic planning processes.
Qualification and Experience
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Management/Administration, Finance or an equivalent qualification from an accredited educational institution.
- Formal training in Supervisory management.
- Two (2) years’ working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a Credit Union or Banking Environment.
Knowledge Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of Credit Union’s products, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of accounting practices, principles and procedures especially as it relates to the Credit Union environment.
- Good human relations, team building and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide financial counselling; resolve members’ issues with patience, tact and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- High level of professionalism, honesty and confidentiality.
