JOB SUMMARY

A company located in Kingston, Jamaica is seeking a Service Technician to install, service and troubleshoot water filtration/treatment equipment and water coolers. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team with excellent customer service skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• High School Diploma with passes in English and Mathematics or another numeric subject.
• At least 2 years experience working with electrical / electro-mechanical, refrigeration and/or plumbing or a similar technical field would be advantageous
• Technical vocational certification would be an asset
• Good Communication and Organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer Literate
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
• Must have a General driver’s license and willing to travel around Jamaica regularly

 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as part of the technical service team to install, service and troubleshoot water filtration and treatment equipment along with water coolers.
• Read technical literature on the different types of equipment you will encounter
• Completing service reports
• Basic programming of equipment
• Liaising with customers on a regular basis.
• Liaising with the service department and other technical team members as necessary to get jobs done efficiently.
