Senior Maintenance Engineer-E&I

The Senior Maintenance Engineer (SME) controls, coordinates and implements maintenance programs and directs and performs engineering and maintenance activities on assigned plant(s) for electrical equipment, systems and associated facilities.

Applicants for this position must possess:

• Extensive knowledge of process plant operations, maintenance, and design.
• Considerable knowledge of plant equipment, safety management and financial management.
• A proven track record in project management inclusive of capital projects, Turnaround management and major and minor equipment repair and troubleshooting. 
• A holistic view of the interdependence of plant, personnel, and the goals of the organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Distributed Controls Systems (DCS), control loops, compressor controls, equipment speed governors, Emergency Shut-Down (ESD)/Safety Instrumented System (SIS) trip logic, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Condition Monitoring/Preventative Maintenance (CM/PM) programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a process plant environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
