The Senior Human Resource Officer is responsible for leading and managing the human resource functions within the organization. The incumbent will be required to develop and implement HR strategies, overseeing HR operations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, enforce, and update Human Resource policies and procedures within the organization as required.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to department heads on HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate with all departments to assist in identifying their staffing needs.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
  • Implement succession planning initiatives to support employee development.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
  • Prepare monthly and fortnightly payroll.
  • Monitor and record employees time and attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
  • Oversee HR administrative functions including employee records management.
  • Prepare employee contracts, job letters, disciplinary letters, and other relevant correspondences.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with applicants and employee matters relative to the HR function.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required.

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good time management skills and capacity to work under pressure.
