In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing territory plans to drive deployments of Fortinet products and services, building relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiating business terms to achieve win-win outcomes.

JOB OBJECTIVE

As a Senior Account Executive, you will generate and manage a sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful contract bids and proposals. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is knowledgeable in technologies like VPN, Firewall, and Intrusion Prevention, and is focused on promoting our leadership in Unified Threat Management.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develop and execute strategic territory plans aimed at driving the deployment of Fortinet products and services across a portfolio of assigned existing accounts and new prospects
  2. Cultivate and strengthen executive relationships with key buyers and influencers, leveraging these connections to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
  3. Build a robust sales pipeline, effectively qualify opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to craft and deliver compelling contract bids, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring the timely submission of Statements of Work
  5. Negotiate favourable business terms with clients to establish mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships
  6. Champion and enhance the company’s regional leadership position in Unified Threat Management

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc. Degree in Sales, Marketing, Operations Management, I.T or a related field
  • Sales and Leadership Training or Certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Executive, Challenger Sales, or SPIN Selling)
  • Minimum of four (4) years of extensive professional experience in a similar capacity in Sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Previous experience in designing business plans and market strategies to increase sales
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Outstanding ability to create detailed and well-organized documentation
  • Thrives and remains productive in a dynamic, fast-paced and evolving work environment
  • Previous experience in network security
  • Knowledgeable in the following technologies VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering
