The Sales and Training Coordinator is responsible for ALL in-house sales and the co-ordination of all training. This role assists with the day-to-day operations, coordinating training activities, and providing administrative support.

1)      Summary of Job

The Sales and Training Coordinator is responsible for ALL in-house sales and the co-ordination of all training. This role assists with the day-to-day operations, coordinating training activities, and providing administrative support.

2)      Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the coordination of training activities for the company not limited to online, classroom and at the company’s shooting range.
  2. Maintain effective Customer Service by assisting customers, providing product knowledge and resolving issues in a timely manner
  3. Oversee the daily operations of the company’s membership program, including membership enrolment, renewals, and cancellations by maintaining accurate records.
  4. Prepare and maintain documentation related to sales activities, contracts, and client interactions.
  5. Oversee the company’s inventory management by restocking shelves and completing inventory.
  6. Manage and accurately oversee the process of payments to vendors, invoices to customers and the collections process for outstanding customer accounts.
  7. Oversee the company’s sales transactions by effectively using the company’s point-of-sale (POS) system, handling payments and maintaining its accuracy.
  8. Maintain the company’s Client Management system by inputting data, updating records and generating reports.
  9. Complete company’s official logbooks, registers, files, and documents to maintain accurate records of training activities, sales performance, and program outcomes.

 

3)      Key Skills and Competencies:

  1. Sales Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and industry trends.
  2. Training Expertise: Proven ability to coordinate events and organizing of training materials.
  3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse sales data and training outcomes to drive improvements.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of the role.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, point of sale systems, training tools, and office software.

 

4)      Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, training, or in a related role.

 

5)      Working Conditions:

  1. Must be able to work at company’s controlled facilities in Piarco, St. Augustine, Chaguaramas
  2. Must be able to work weekends and public holidays.
  3. The role involves both sitting for extended periods while working at a desk and standing or walking during training sessions or sales transactions.
  4. Ability to lift and carry materials related to training sessions, such as presentation equipment, training manuals, or promotional materials. The weight is generally manageable (e.g., up to 25-30 pounds).
  5. Hours of work, as guided below, however the same is subject to change based on the demand of the client and operations of the company with financial compensation / compensatory time off is offered:
  • office hours – 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • training days – weekend - 8:00am – 2:00pm
  • training days – weekday – 11:00am – 7:00pm
