Sales Representative - Rentals

JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the promotion and marketing of the company’s products and to provide good customer service. This position reports directly to the Division Manager.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes and sells the Company’s Rental equipment, whilst continuously seeking new opportunities for introducing rental equipment to customers.
• Makes recommendations according to customers’ needs.
• Places customers’ orders and following up on delivery of rental equipment.
• Provides equipment demonstration on deliveries as required.
• Handles customer questions, complaints and billing queries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
• Manages customer’s accounts within the limits of the credit facilities offered to them in accordance with Company Policy.
• Collects of revenues and making adjustments to customers’ accounts where necessary.
• Assists in implementing advertising/promotional campaigns.
• Continually maintains working knowledge of all company’s rental equipment, services, pricing and promotions.
• Tracks all Rentals.
• Demonstrates active adherence to all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, while also promoting HSE awareness.
• Any other related responsibilities assigned by Management.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of five (5) CXC O’ Level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics or
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a Sales environment.
• Technical experience would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products.
• Local travel requires that the candidate owns a reliable vehicle and uses same for customer site visits as required.
• A valid Driver’s permit.
