Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Representative will be responsible for building product distribution and brand visibility in the assigned area,
growing volumes and revenue to meet or exceed company defined targets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Plan and implement sales activities in assigned territory.
  • Network and build trusting relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Educate customers and retailers, about our products.
  • Visit all POS in the assigned territory following in call mission steps in every visit
  • Optimize the distribution of products in the portfolio by seeking new accounts and building and maintaining
  • positive relationships within the down trade
  • Sell assigned line of products in the portfolio in line with the turnover sales of each POS and their optimal
  • inventory levels.
  • Sell any promotions or trade programs assigned for the customers in their territory
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels in all POS to ensure customers are neve out of stock of any product
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures with respect to stock management.
  • Adhere to the collection requirements for each account 
  • Report any issues affecting performance in territory to immediate supervisor
  • Record GPS mapping of POS as requested
  • Expeditiously resolve customer complaints/issues, communicate with all relevant departments and managers to
  • resolve problems.
  • Prepare, maintain and submit reports as required.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategic plans for the department.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  •  A Diploma in Marketing and/or Sales and/or 5 CXC subjects inclusive of English Language and Mathematics or Accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations skills.
  • Minimum of three years experience in the sale of FMCG/pharmacuetical  products.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • An understanding of the company’s mission, vision, goals and operating procedures.
  • Consistently exhibit required business ethics and customer service skills.
  • A high level of reliability and responsibility.
  • A reliable motor vehicle.
