The Sales Professional (SP) will be responsible for soliciting customers and hitting the targets set and growing sales. The SP is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and effectively executing store policy and procedures.

Job Title: Sales Professional

Position: Full-time contract

Reports to: Store Manager, Store Supervisor and Operations Manager

The Sales Professional (SP) will be responsible for soliciting customers and hitting the targets set and growing sales. The SP is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and effectively executing store policy and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and achieve sales objectives. This includes:

1 . Generating sales.

  1. Assist in Managing customer accounts.
  2. Market research (price & product comparisons and evaluations).
  3. Execute promotions, merchandising and all sales related activity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Engage and interact with as many people per day to lure in potential sales.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific Entities that would give access to larger pool of prospects.
  • Prospect and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity (on the floor promotions and activities).
  • To record the receipt of all phones for repair on the company's behalf in the repairs portal
  • Removing all SIM and Data cards.
  • Record all IMEI of each device.
  • Record Customers Passwords if they exist.
  • Record Clearly what problems the customer is experiencing.

  • Ensure that customers are issued a claim form.
  • Highlight the warranty policy—Liquid Damage and Programming.
  • Ensure that the representative that collects the Phone and verifies that problem is fixed using check sheet.
  • Ensure the Date of collection is recorded in the portal.
  • Ensure the Assessment reports and Diagnostic reports are printed and issued to customers.
  • To inform client of potential waiting period and rules governing repairs (Manage the customers' expectations).
  • Do thorough check of the phones and record findings on phone check sheet.
  • Ensure full knowledge of all of the Technicians findings and able to relay information to
  • customer. (Contact must be initiated with the customer even if no new update is available).
  • Ensure that customers pay assessment fee before leaving the phone in the company's possession.
  • Manage, record and issue loaner devices as per company policy and ensure they are returned within 2 weeks and in working conditions
  • Ensure that no repair job is left in the company's possession for longer than 1 week without action.
  • Assist in maintaining repair parts well organized — tagged, easy to find and out of danger.
  • Keep customer in the loop every step of the way and present solutions for problems including irreparability.
  • Identify sales prospects Via Phone book or otherwise, make contact and close sales.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services. (With assistance from

Management).

  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Daily Monitoring and reporting of targets and progress towards hitting the assigned targets.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Outline and highlight the RMA process to each customer and process these in accordance to Company Policy.
  • Assist Resellers to sell products using different sales strategies and promotions.
  • Assist with merchandising of partner stores
  • Assist with training and demonstrations of partner stores
  • Basic Analysis of Inventory movement for partner stores
  • Present Monthly Reports outlining the plans to improve and grow sales, outline what is required to achieve that which is set out including market analysis.
  • Introduce Products specifically geared for the different markets.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM 5 CXC'S grade 2 or higher including Math and English Minimum 3 Years' Experience in the Mobile Sector Experience in Sales and Marketing.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1 . Exceptional interpersonal skills, have the ability to mingle with wide cross section of people.

  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
  3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  4. Work requires frequent engagement and constant interaction with current and potential clients.
  5. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel for any possible promotions

MORE SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Customer Service Skills.

Occasionally shoppers within the retail store will ask to speak with someone whether it be to issue a complaint regarding product or service while the SP is not the manager he/she must be extremely well versed in matters of customer service.

Situation Handling Skills

How to deal with every situation is something that one must practice and possibly even seek guidance to ensure the customer issues are resolved.

Ability to impact Sales performance Skills

The Sales Professional must know the performance of each retail store daily and action the steps to guide the performance on track with the plans set out in terms of targets.

Influencer and Sales Leader

One positive trait which makes a good retail sales associate is an individual who has exceptional conversational skills. Since a main component of a retail sales associate's daily duties is to interact with customers and co-workers (store employees), it is very important that they know how to converse in such a manner which is courteous yet effective but yet persuasive and authoritative as the resident tech experts.

Working Conditions

On telephone, Social media, outdoor promotional events, in partner stores, on the shop floor. Work requires significant standing and weekly promotions at prospective customers and in high traffic areas.
