Reports To: Sales Manager/General Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Consultant is responsible for identifying customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring a seamless sales process. This role includes generating new sales leads through various methods, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and delivering high-quality service. The Sales Consultant will also play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, staying informed on market trends, and contributing to the organization’s success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Sales

  • Engage with potential and existing customers to determine their needs and provide suitable products or services.
  • Schedule and conduct sales appointments, presenting tailored solutions.
  • Adjust sales presentations based on customer profiles.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Lead Generation & Management

  • Generate new sales leads through telemarketing, referrals, field sales calls, and networking.
  • Use CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive) to record and manage leads effectively.
  • Track sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
  • Stay updated on product offerings, pricing, and new developments.
  • Monitor competitors, including pricing, product launches, and marketing strategies.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit activity and results reports, including daily call logs and monthly analyses.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales materials and proposals.

Customer Service & Problem Solving

  • Address and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and providing solutions.
  • Inform customers of delivery schedules and payment procedures.

Event Participation

Represent the company at seminars, trade shows, and other marketing events.

Additional Duties

  • Assist with special sales activities, such as promotions to reduce stock.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful completion of sales.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven experience meeting sales targets and maintaining client relationships.
  • Skills in prospecting, negotiation, and territory management.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion techniques and advertising.
