SALES ASSOCIATE – PAINTS

Purpose of the Role

Support the increase in sales volume for True Value Paints by ensuring that the paints are properly merchandised, appropriate stock levels are maintained, and deliverables are aligned with the needs of the customer.

Principal Responsibilities

• Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice to customers to influence their purchasing decisions,
• Ensure shelves are clean, counter clutter free, inventory neatly and attractively merchandised, and pricing information is visible on shelf or item,
• Monitor inventory levels to always ensure adequate product availability,
• Assist with stocktaking and cycle counts,
• Maintain awareness of all promotions,
• Support an excellent experience for the customer by offering exceptional service.

Minimum Education & Experience

• 5 CSEC passes at the general proficiency level, including English & Mathematics,
• Basic proficiency at Microsoft Excel,
• 1 year experience in retail, preferably in a customer facing role.
