The Sales Associate acts as the first point of contact for the Company. It is therefore important that he/she speaks confidently and assuredly from the level of product knowledge garnered, ensuring that the customer receives the highest level of customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Let smile be easy (wear a smile always);    Meet the customers as they enter with an ushering gesture while engaging in light conversations towards their buying needs.
  2. Be knowledgeable of product styles, sizes, colours and availability in order to provide customers with information as requested
  3. Walk customers through the display shelves and answer their questions regarding prices and availability
  4. Request sandals size, styles and colour in storage areas and inform customers if something is not available
  5. Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items
  6. Assist customers in fitting sandals on and providing honest feedback
  7. Provide customers with information on return and exchange policies (
  8. Provide customers with information on discount or other promotional offers
  9. Ensure that the shoe display area is kept clean and organized at all times
  10. Encourage customers to buy accessories, cologne and clothing items
  11. Keep client informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
  12. Escort customers to cashier to process payment

Education & Industry Experience

  • At least 4 subject passes in CXC (English Language mandatory)
  •  High School Leaving Certification
  • 1-2 years working experience in Customer Service/Sales
