SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Overview:  We are an Engineering Company who develops Services on the North Coast of Jamaica. We are proud to be authorized service suppliers for some of the best brands in several strategic areas. Our mission is to ensure that our customers get the best services.

The candidate will be responsible to install, test, monitor, inspect and maintain the optimum operation of our equipment located along the Noth Coast. These systems include various disciplines such as mechanics, electricity, plumbing, compressed air, control, etc. so it is important to have experience in these areas

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Performs periodic meter readings of our dispensers.
• Performs all Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) repairs to eliminate defects on our systems
• Provides technical maintenance support to all assigned equipment as required
• Recommends and implements operational changes to meet customer satisfaction and improve system efficiencies
• Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule
• Ensures all Work Orders, Inspections and Preventative Maintenance (PM) are accurately reported to the Supervisor
• Assist in the commissioning of new equipment

POSITION SPECIFICATION:

• Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from an accredited tertiary institution
• Minimum three (3) years hands-on experience in maintenance of equipment like laundry machinery, swimming pools water treatments, etc.
• Familiar with industrial plumbing installations and maintenance
• Adept with engineering drawings and electrical one-line diagrams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Leadership skills
• Highly reliable, Team player and Service Oriented
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with team members and multiple customers.
• Must have a valid Jamaican driver’s license
