QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS OFFICER

Mother’s Food Group is seeking an experienced an QMS OFFICER to join our team. The QMS Officer is responsible to provide objective and professional evaluations of the QMS and assist management to accomplish the quality objectives. Ensuring that all procedures and work instructions are adhered to.

The QMS Officer will have specific responsibility for:

• Ensuring that Quality Management Systems are adequately maintained and continuous improvements are implemented to meet established standards
• Arranging awareness training sessions and further refresher training as needed
• Revising, creating and maintaining procedure manual and policy manual for Retail locations and Support Centre
• Managing Quality Management System controlled documentation
• Monitoring corrective action and preventive action within QMS
• Undertaking any other duties commensurate with the level of the post as may be reasonably required.

• Providing  objective and professional evaluations of the QMS and assist management to accomplish the quality objectives

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies

• BSC. Degree in Quality Management or Management Science or Engineering Science or  equivalent
• Must be familiar with ISO 9001-2008
• Minimum 2 years experience required in similar position
• Minimum 1 year auditing experience
• Excellent knowledge of QMS, OHS and EMS and other associated Quality systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to resolve problems where solution may not be apparent, taking implications into account
• Proven experience in writing complex analytical reports and papers
