Applications are invited for the position of Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, executing and monitoring all aspects of the implementation of assigned projects, using solid project management principles.

Key to the Project Coordinator's position is the ability to demonstrate previous experience with implementation, project management and working with a wide cross section of stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assume operational coordination of assigned projects consistent with the organization’s established policies and procedures.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Prepare programme proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for programme activities and events as well as provide technical coordination support to project activities.
  • Undertake all administrative and technical duties necessary for the proper functioning of all components of the programme. This includes executing and reporting on the implementation of all programme activities.
  • Ensure that programme outputs are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with the implementation, legal, financial and technical requirements of the programme.
  • Monitor and track programme progress and handle any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain strong and positive relationship with government and other relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in the management and implementation of projects.
  • Sound knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent written communications skills with proven experience in preparing high quality written reports.
  • Excellent team skills and ability to work with a range of colleagues across a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experienced user of MS Office.
