JOB VACANCY NOTICE

Driver (LMO/DR 2)

The Jamaica Council for Persons with Disabilities (JCPD) is seeking to identify a suitably qualified candidate to fill the above-mentioned post.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

• Collects and delivers mail or other items as directed; ensures that recipients sign for deliveries.
• Transports staff and other persons to and from their destinations as directed.
• Performs other related functions assigned from time to time by the Manager - Human Resource & Administration.

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

The position requires any of the following qualifications/experience:

• Secondary School Leaving Certificate
• Valid General Driver’s License
• At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity

 KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Knowledge of defensive driving techniques
• Basic oral and written communication skills
• Basic interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions
