The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to standardized recipes and specifications. Must be able to ensure all food products are the highest quality and meet food safety standards.

 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, including equipment
and utensils
2. Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and specifications
3. Ensure all food products are of the highest quality and meet food safety standards
4. Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate food orders and ensure
timely preparation and service.

5. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and replenishment as
needed.

6. Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.

7. Assist with the receiving and storage of food deliveries.

8. Follow kitchen safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a high-pressure
environment.

10. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding any issues or
concerns related to food preparation or service.

11. Ensure own personal hygiene is maintained to a high standard.

12. Advise the Operations Manager before any absence through illness etc

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to stand for extended periods.

2. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

3. Ability to work in a hot and humid environment.
