The Physical Security is responsible for overseeing and implementing physical security programs based on physical security standard, policies and procedures and services within the assigned site.
Job Description
Prevent and identify vulnerabilities for the protection of personnel, assets and intangibles, ensure compliance with physical security standards and policies given by your management and maintain a high level of quality in service to our internal and external clients.
Verify compliance with global security policies at the entrances to operational floors, guaranteeing that unauthorized elements are not entered, through inspection with a metal detector.
Inspect operating floors/common areas in order to make reports that allow the identification of findings and infractions related to security policies.
Submit reports related to non-compliance with regulations by staff, so that measures can be taken as appropriate.
Contribute to internal/external audits by complying with the proper use of the reports/formats assigned for day-to-day tasks and sharing these when requested.
Carry out identification and access request processes for new staff, replacements, modifications and withdrawals.
Conduct Investigations through CCTV.
Reinforce the proper use of the badge to all internal and external staff and always wear it in a visible place.
Ensure the proper use of the Access card, for dialing in entrances and exits of our access systems, (do not allow dialing to other people, do not allow the loan of the card).
Restrict the entry of unauthorized personnel to operational or restricted areas of the company.
Cover the security positions that are necessary.
Keep in order all documentation related to access of people, supplies, and company assets.
All asset movements must have their exit order and must leave a safe copy for your archive and destination. You must verify that the authorized signatures are present and have the contact numbers on hand in case verification is necessary.
Handle temporary passes according to security policy.
Keep track of key loans. In deposit and format intended for this purpose
At the end of the shift, all positions must be checked with a metal detector
