We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional pharmaceutical distribution services.

Job Description: The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in our pharmaceutical distribution operations, ensuring the safe and effective management and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of medications, as well as providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions and inventory.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications for distribution.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving pharmaceutical distribution services and operations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on pharmaceutical products and practices to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Train staff to ensure high standards of practice and adherence to safety protocols.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to pharmaceutical products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license in Trinidad.
• Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience working as a pharmacist, preferably in a distribution or wholesale environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices in distribution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
