We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic part-time High School Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, effective communication skills, and a passion for inspiring young minds.
Education and Related Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in subject area from an accredited university.
Valid registration with the Ministry of Education or a valid teaching certificate/license.
Bachelor’s or Master’s of Education or equivalent will be considered an asset.
At least three (3) years of current teaching experience in the specific subject area relevant to the vacant position.
Proven experience teaching high school students, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
MYP and AP experience preferred.
Technical Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on student needs and changing circumstances.
Proven experience teaching high school students, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Advanced skills in dealing with students and staff with diverse needs at various levels.
Operating knowledge of and experience with educational technology and 21st-century learning.
