GK General Insurance Company seeks to identify an individual looking for an excellent opportunity to progress his/her career; and who possesses the vision and energy to help drive dynamic changes in the company.

In the following capacity:-​

PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Reporting to the Strategy & Business Support Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the management and execution of the company’s project management components, derived from or to support strategic initiatives, ensuring the desired results for each project is achieved within the timeline, scope and budget.

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, team-oriented and organized individual with strong communication, decision making, and analytical skills.

At minimum, applicants should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, IT, Finance or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other industry-recognized project management certification
  • Three (3) years’ experience in an insurance company or similar type financial institution with at least two (2) in a Project Management-type position
  • Formal training in Six Sigma or other quality management methodologies is an asset
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Formal training in Change Management is an asset
  • Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) terminologies
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) would be an asset
