The Process Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the syrup production or processing facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinator the entire syrup processing operations.
  • Monitor and optimize syrup preparation schedules to meet demand and quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce production procedures and quality control measures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of syrup production staff.
  • Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
  • Develop and enforce thorough cleaning and sanitation protocols for all equipment, production areas, and utensils.
  • Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure thorough and regular cleaning schedules are maintained.
  • Conduct periodic audits of cleaning procedures to verify compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Address any sanitation-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Train production staff on proper cleaning and sanitation procedures in the production process.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality syrup.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Monitor and manage syrup raw material inventory levels.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for production staff.
  • Investigate and address any safety incidents or violations.

Education and Qualifications

 

  1. B.Sc. Chemical and Process Engineering (preferred)/ B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering/ B.Sc. Electrical Engineering
  2. At least 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years’ experience in the food industry
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  4. Ability to analyse production data and implement process improvements.
  5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
