Required Education:

  • Minimum of 5 CXC's including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts


Required Skills / Experience:

  • Experienced in Retail Sales
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly motivated by targets.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Basic Numeracy.
  • Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Legible handwriting.

  • Ability to operate effectively with minimum supervision.


Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales including Supa Shield targets.
  • Complete stock movement and sales reports daily.
  • Attend and provide appropriate reports at weekly sales meetings.
  • Ensure that customers receive service that exceeds their expectations.
  • Establish contact within 30 seconds of the customer entering the store.
  • Explain the terms and conditions of appropriate optical care techniques and credit contracts clearly to the customer.
  • Display good merchandising skills.
  • Build and maintain Customer Client base.
  • Provide periodic updates on competitor offerings and prices.
  • Effectively Identify customer needs and address them, escalating to the Branch Manager where necessary.
  • Keep customers advised of delivery changes/issues on time.
  • Answer the telephone promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure the assigned area is clean, tidy, and accordingly tagged.
  • Ensure all documents about the purchase are correctly and thoroughly completed.
  • Provide relief service for the Branch Manager.
  • Assist in the opening and closing of the Store.
  • Have a basic knowledge of all products sold by the company.
