THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. MUST BE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME.

Our client located in the East is seeking to fill the position of a Merchandising Manager 

Salary range: $15,000 to $15,500.00 (base, travelling allowance and vehicle allowance)

JOB DESCRIPTION: some of the duties are as follows:

• Manage a core of Merchandisers, Advise divisional sales managers of critical areas
• Visit of supermarkets daily to inspect merchandising activities, Indentify competitive merchandising strategies 
• Ensure proper stock rotation in retail stores
• Handle customer complaints
• Develop a merchandising plan for every quarter
• Assist in quality control
• Direct and manage staff in accordance with proper Industrial relations
• To work part-time on Saturday and Sundays as required, to review ongoing merchandising work

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Marketing, Management Studies, or related studies
• Certification or proven experience in Advertising, promotions or Merchandising would be an asset
• At least 2 years active experience in the retail sector
