The Centre, located in Kingston, Jamaica was established in 1980 to serve Jamaica and the English speaking Caribbean.  Since then, two other Centres have been established, one located at Royes Street in St. Ann's Bay and the other located in Mandeville, Manchester. In addition to diagnostic assessment and intervention, the CARE Centre conducts research studies, and provides public education and training through workshops, conferences, webinars and publications. 

Mico CARE Centre utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to diagnostic assessment and intervention, primarily serving children ages 4-17 years.  The clinical team consists of Clinical Psychologists, Special Educators, Social Workers, Nurse, Speech Language Pathologist, and an Occupational Therapist.
