Medical Sales Representative

Effective promotion of pharmaceutical products by visiting and consulting doctors who generate prescriptions focused on patients well-being. Works strategically to increase awareness and use of our products around general practices of primary care and hospitals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Arrange appointments to make presentations to doctors, pharmacies, and hospital´s medical team
• Build a relationship with doctors or pharmacists to promote company´s products
• Highlight the differentiating advantages over the competitors and focus the promotion on patient´s well-being based on evidence
• Obtain information of the rotation of the products and the doctors who have prescribe them in pharmacies and hospitals
• Manage properly the budget of the Continue Medical Education, invitations of external speakers, conferences, events, etc.      
• Keep an update database with clinical data provided by the company and health services activities in specific areas
• Keep contact with health professionals to interpret, discuss and formulate methods to presenting data for presentations
• Keep update the daily report of calls to doctors and health professionals
• Have good command of the company´s products and marketing calls schemes
• Successfully accomplish the training of the products and sales techniques

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience
• Driver´s license and vehicle
• Valid passport and availability to travel
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
• Committed to excellent customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills including the ability to listen and build rapport with medical staff
• Experience using tablets (iPad) and computer for a variety of tasks
