Assist with the assembly, installation, repairs and services of typical pump packages.
Assist with the installation of standard electrical controllers.
Assists with service contracts.
Maintain Company’s Vehicle once in your possession ensuring that the vehicle is well maintained and always kept.
Responsible for own safety and the safety of others working with you.
Responsible for daily good housekeeping in the Workshop and surrounding areas including the Changing Room and ensures that the work area is always kept in a clean and tidy manner. This includes all tools and equipment which must be properly stored in assigned areas at the end of each workday.
Performs welding, plumbing and assists with minor repairs.
Obtains pricing, as requested, for material for specific jobs.
Completes daily service reports.
Ensures all works are carried out in accordance with current Company Procedures and Policies particularly, as they relate to the Company’s Quality Management Systems and EHS procedures.
Performs related duties as assigned.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS:
Compliance to the Organizations Management Systems i.e. Safe-to-Work (STOW) & ISO 9001:2015 in relation to their relevant standards
Ensure promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
Ensuring maintenance of the integrity of the Management Systems when changes are planned and implemented.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Five (5) ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
Formal Craft Training such as City and Guilds, Texaco, Shell, Caroni, YTEPP / Trade School, John Donaldson Institute, NESC;
Mechanical Fitter / Fabricator / Welder / Surface Preparation and Coating / Millwright / Instrumentation OR 1- 2 years of experience in similar position.
At least one (1) year’s driving experience with a valid Driver’s Permit exceeding two (2) years.
Advanced computer competency knowledge with emphasis on MS Office Suite.
Experience operating within a Quality Management and/or HSSE System.
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to execute tasks with complex problem-solving skills.
Effective and efficient communication skills, both written and verbal, etc.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with acumen abilities in technical competence, integrity and dependability qualities.
