Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager

The Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading several major commercial HVAC/Air-Conditioning

OUR CLIENT, AND AIR CONDITION COMPANY LOCATED IN THE SAN JUAN/BARATARIA AREA IS LOOKING FOR A MECHANICAL ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER 

Terms offered:

• Starting monthly remuneration package of $7,000.00 (less taxes) plus a travelling allowance of $2,300.00 per month, for use of personal vehicle on company business. [Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience].
• Corporate Cell Phone Plan/allowance.
• Probation for a period of six (6) months.
• Successful candidate will be eligible to enter into the company’s group medical scheme covering both minor and major medical expense and includes dental and vision for employees and their families.  This scheme is fifty percent (50%) contributory and may be joined after the successful completion of their six (6) months probationary period.
• Successful candidate will also be part of an existing commission scheme, details of which will be discussed on a project-by-project basis or when projects are awarded.  Any productivity or other bonus schemes, which may be in operation from time to time, are ex-gratia and can be withdrawn by the Company at any time. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  

• At least five (5) O’level passes including English and Mathematics.
• B.Sc. Engineering Science from recognized Technical Institute or related field.
• Minimum 3-years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, motivated and work well alone as well as with a team.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package especially Word, Excel, Outlook and CAD Applications (AutoCAD).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings for assessment of cost for the supply and installation of Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and control systems.
• The ability to manage own time and prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Must have own vehicle.
