SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Whenever possible, aeronautical products shall be physically segregated from non-aeronautical products so as to preclude the use of unapproved parts and materials.
• Serviceable and unserviceable aeronautical parts and materials, in storage, shall be clearly identified and segregated so as to preclude the installation of unserviceable parts.
• Aeronautical products arriving without appropriate certification shall be held in quarantine stores until a disposition is approved by the Quality Unit.
• Shelf life controlled consumables are reviewed and purged of time expired consumables on a monthly basis.
• Persons performing work will ensure that no part is installed unless it has the appropriate serviceable tag and it meets any applicable time limits.
• The DOM, Materials and Logistics Coordinator or anyone designated by the DOM to do so, performing a Receiving Inspection shall have documented training in respect to handling materials, materials identification, and required documentation in accordance with PHIA-MTM-001 and approved in accordance section 3.7.2. A (Company Procedures/Manuals).
