ARC Manufacturing Limited, one of Jamaica’s leading manufacturers and distributors of building materials, is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of:

MANAGER OF MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Coordinates the design and implementation of the company’s marketing and public relations strategies and activities.
• Plans and executes promotional campaigns, company events and community outreach activities.
• Prepares presentations, press releases, articles, and other promotional documentation.
• Monitors trends in social media applications, channels, design and strategy.
• Manages the company’s website and social media accounts.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media and communications, public relations or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in public relations or marketing.

• Comprehensive knowledge and application of public relations principles and practices, information technology, multimedia, mass media, photography, and social media.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of digital marketing tools and trends.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
