Maintenance Engineer responsible for

Key Responsibilities:

• Development/preparation of work scope, cost and manpower estimates and follow up on contract award/approval

• Reviews or develops Scopes, Estimates, Schedules, Budgets, Procedures and Work Packages for Maintenance Works.

• Monitors maintenance works in progress and validates job completion and performance.

• Manages the interface with Contractors, Operations personnel and other relevant parties during work execution.

• Supervision of execution of works and services provided by Third-Party contractors

• Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.

• Interfaces with and directs team of mechanical, civil, electrical and instrumentation maintenance technicians as well as Maintenance Contractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical Issues.

• Identifying and reporting on potential failures of equipment

• Participates in final checks of new installations

• Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect operations

• Conduct Root-Cause Failure Analysis

• Perform failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system

• Perform equipment optimizations based on current operating conditions to increase equipment reliability and lower maintenance costs

• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

• Ensuring work schedules are met

• Providing administrative support as needed.

• Developing work execution strategies. • Participate in the development of JHA/risk assessment for work plans.

• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.

• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all team members.

• Implements HSSEQ standards and ensures adherence to same

• Communicates information effectively upwards and downwards • Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time to fulfill the job purpose.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science Degree Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Industrial)

• A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Port/Terminal/Marine Operations or in similar facilities for onshore and offshore

Key Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs

• Demonstrated experience in use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP) • Demonstrated experience in maintenance cost estimating and scheduling

• Demonstrated experience in contractor management

• Demonstrated experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis

• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skil
