The JESS Legal Administrative Coordinator reports primarily to the JESS DISH Manager but will also take direction from other Client team members who are accountable for supported work.

JOB SUMMARY:

The person will be responsible for providing professional support to in-house counsel and others in the assignment of contracting matters for review by attorneys, including interacting with in-house counsel, outside counsel, and other senior firm members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

  • Receive and review documents submitted through CORE Legal to contracting lawyers within the Office of General Counsel (OGC).
  • Elicit additional information to support attorneys in reviewing documents, including engagement letters, proposed changes to standard terms and conditions, master service agreements, statements of work and vendor contracts.
  • Edit CORE Legal submissions for inaccuracies.
  • Administer requests for expedited review and coordinate requests with appropriate persons from different practice groups.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration or Legal Studies from an accredited college/university or any other related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional services firm or similar environment.
  • Solid verbal/written communication, problem-solving, research, analytical, and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and documents such as engagement letters, master service agreements, and vendor contracts
