To perform all Quality Control checks at each stage in the processing from raw materials to finished products
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepares formula sheet for processing as per specification.
2. Ensures that urgent matters are read and logged in the Contact Book.
3. Ensures that Raw Materials inputs are weighed accurately as per specifications and procedure conforms to Good
Manufacturing Practices [G.M.P.] (Iron, Vitamins, Flavours and others). [See Work Instruction]
4. Responsible for sampling and testing at each stage in processing from Raw Materials inputs to Finished Product.
5. Uses Test methods as specified.
6. Records results of quality control checks on Laboratory Sheets and Operator’s processing sheets.
7. Highlights problems and any non-conformance to operator, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Production Supervisors,
Quality Assurance Manager, Production Manager and Chief Operations Officer as necessary.
8. Follows up on non-conformances as necessary noting corrective measures and improvements.
9. Ensures that proper handing over procedures is adhered to from shift to shift, highlighting non-conformances and
follow-ups.
10. Issues sanitizer for production personnel and advises of dilution for cleaning.
11. Identifies any non-conformance by placing a (Red) Hold sticker on the item. Information to be placed on sticker as
per specification.
12. Ensures that product is produced under G.M.P and good housekeeping of laboratory workstations.
13. Prepares a daily written report (summary) to the end of the shift detailing events, non-conformances (product and
process) and action taken or to be taken.
14. Performs other related duties as may be required by the job function.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- 5 O’Level Certificate for at least 5 subjects or Science Technician Background
