KITCHEN STEWARD - HANDYMAN HELPER
SUMMARY: Responsible for the cleaning/ upkeep of all equipment, and assist with cleaning dishes, pots, pans, glassware and utensils within unit. Must follow company directed guidelines for sanitation and cleanliness and perform the following duties:

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Basic training in handyman duties like AC, refrigeration, electricity, and plumbing.
REGULAR ATTENDANCE is required and expected.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Industrial High school graduate preferred; One-year minimum small repairs experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS: Health permit/food safety card.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to communicate with fellow staff members to facilitate teamwork and superior guest service.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, ratios, decimals and proportions to practical situations

While performing the duties of this job, the staff members is regularly required (for periods of up to 8 hours or longer, if needed) to stand; walk; talk or hear; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The staff member is also regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The staff members is frequently required to climb or balance and required to taste or smell.
The staff members must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
