The ATL Automotive Group is looking for enthusiastic and personable persons to join the KIA Sales team. The individuals will achieve vehicle sales targets and ensuring that the highest level of brand representation is displayed and represented at all times.

KIA Sales Executive 

Core Job Functions:

GENERAL

  • Ensuring that the highest levels of brand representation for both ATL and Kia are displayed and represented at all times in all areas.
  • Assisting the Senior Sales Manager(SSM)/Head of Business (HOB) with the monitoring daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
  • Organise and maintain the showroom, updating silent salesmen material where necessary.
  • Maintain a tidy workstation along with all customer interactive areas of the showroom.
  • Attending regular meetings with the managers of each department.
  • Attendance at and contribution to monthly Team meetings for the dealership.
  • Attendance at and contribution to quarterly staff meetings for the dealership.
  • Play a role in ensuring full compliance with the company’s standard for the opening and closing dealership daily.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns, proactively suggesting ideas to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the showroom facility and alerting the SSM/HOB to ensure any maintenance work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Consistently stay up to date with product knowledge and Kia Academy Training. 

SALES DUTIES

  • To achieve both new and used vehicle sales targets.
  • Support the SSM/HOB with accurate forecasting at the beginning of each month, updating as necessary.
  • Active participation in regular prospecting evenings as determined by the HOB or Group Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Complete understanding and adherence to the Kia sales process.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss any challenges of your work, asking for support where. necessaryOngoing maintenance of ELeads system to ensure zero percentage of unattended leads.
  • Immediate, consistent and expert response to online lead submissions.
  • Proactive and creative generation of Business Partners in line with KPIs through extensive and consistent prospecting via telephone, email, social media and face-to-face.
  • Proactive attendance and prospecting at third party events.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge along with a detailed understanding of all current ATL and Porsche marketing programmes.
  • Proactively research competitor activity and proactively suggest ways of responding where necessary.
  • Create and maintain an excellent working relationship with lending institutions, insurance companies and any other critical stakeholders, suggesting partnerships where possible.
  • Attendance and proactive prospecting at all sales and marketing events.
  • Be knowledgeable on the “Perfect Delivery” and Kia Best Business Practices, adhere at all times.
  • Ongoing monitoring of sales promotion items and brochures, working with the HOB and marketing division to order more where necessary.
  • Ensure that the location’s demo fleet in maintained to the highest standards at all times.
  • Display the ability to deliver as well as the availability of demonstration vehicles and inventory (new vehicles)
  • Ensure smooth scheduling processes.
  • Constantly research new sales and prospecting techniques and share with your peers wherever possible.
  • Organise and maintain the new vehicle showroom and used car display updating point-of-sale material where necessary.
  • Organise and maintain a tidy workstation along with all customer interactive areas of the showroom.
  • Analyse all customer enquiries, exploring all aspects of their social, occupational and financing needs logging in Kia (system)  where possible.
  • Undertake an enthusiastic presentation of the vehicle in the showroom or other suitable location.
  • Ensure that all leads are offered associated services: ATL Automotive Finance, insurance, PDS accessories and extended warranty/service contracts.
  • Ensure the customer is appropriately re-contacted during the lifetime ownership of the vehicle.

 CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES

  • Effective collection of customer data to enhance Kia system.
  • Work with the SSM/HOB to monitor the customer experience by reviewing feedback received from customers and making the necessary recommendations or changesFull adherence to Kia’s Customer Satisfaction processes, guidelines and bonus targeting requirements.
  • Play an influential role in the improvement of the customer experience.
Qualification and Experience:
The ideal Candidate must have the following minimum experience:
  • Minimum 2 year’s sales experience in motor vehicle industry (experience with luxury brands an asset).
  • Tertiary training in Sales/Marketing an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other related programmes.
  • Ability to meet timelines.
  • Ability to work outside of regular working hours to include weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Holder of a valid driver’s licence which must be over 2 years’ old.
  • At least 23 years’ old.
