Junior Tax & Finance Management Specialist (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

Tax Audit Support: Assist in handling tax audits by coordinating fieldwork, preparing necessary documentation, conducting analyses, and drafting responses under the mentorship of our experienced tax team.

Regional Projects: Participate in regional projects across Central America and the Caribbean, depending on team resource allocation and needs, to gain broader exposure.

Tax Advisory: Learn to provide tax opinions and advice to support business requirements with the close guidance of senior team members.

Tax Operations: Assist with daily tax operations, including tax filings, supervising tax calculations, preparing mandatory tax documents, supporting business operations, reviewing contracts, and managing tax risk assessments. Responsibilities to expand gradually based on performance.

Auditor Interface Management: Support in managing communication with auditors, tracking audit progress and resolution of audit issues, and managing audit risks, developing crucial communication skills.

Local Chief Accountant Support: Support in-depth analysis of statutory financial reports, helping to identify and manage audit risks.

Qualifications

•  Jamaican national. Recent graduate (Graduated between 2023/01/01 to Now), major in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and contribute positively to a collaborative atmosphere.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous internship experience in the tax audit or finance sector will be an advantage.
