Junior Associate

Junior Associate with practical experience in Litigation.

We are a law firm which is ranked as one of the top litigation practices in the British Virgin Islands and specializes in corporate/ commercial law, real estate, family matters, intellectual property, Conveyancing, Family Law and Estate Planning and Probate. We are seeking to hire a Junior Associate to join our team.

Duties:

• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, affidavits and  agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings;

• Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys;

• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients;

• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently;

• Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff;

• Billing and Invoicing for legal services;

• Ensuring confidentiality;
