The Casino Technician is responsible for troubleshooting machines and performing general maintenance tasks and repairs, in addition to responding to floor calls while on duty.
Responsibilities:
Complete all Technical activities in assigned areas, ensure provision of excellent customer service.
Ensure that Technical work space areas are kept clean and all machines are Service, Repair/Replace parts when necessary.
Check and test machines each morning and after a shift ends to ensure that every slot machine and table games equipment is in optimum operational condition at all times.
Clear machines whenever a Hand pay, Special pay or Un-certain transaction is needed.
Respond to service calls in a timely manner, ensuring that customer service standards are met.
Perform meter readings first of each month to submit to the BGLC (Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission).
Continually update personal knowledge of new products or equipment introduced to the slot and table games gaming industry.
Remove / Carry in machines from or to gaming floor when needed.
Control television stations in order to satisfy customers’ needs on required sports they wishes to watch.
Unlock and clear machines to reduce machine blocking during shift.
Keep radio on with music to be played on the floor to entertain customers.
Turn on/off the MxWallPro so that customers are able to watch when needed.
Find required tv station or sport when requested by a customer.
Protect all assets of the Company at all times.
Continually update personal knowledge of new products or equipment introduced to the slot and table games gaming industry.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, College Degree or equivalent related field
Electronic gaming technical certification background is an advantage.
A minimum of one year technical experience in slot or table games operations is preferred.
Basic understanding of electronics and an understanding of trouble shooting such electronics.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Must have good verbal communication skills.
