Export Coordinator

To provide support to the Export Manager by coordinating the day to day functions of export shipments. Assists in the implementation of the annual strategic export plans, implements and evaluates export markets re: sales activities in the development of markets to increase sales..

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

• Liaise with the export representative to prepare an annual export budget, which would include strategy, implementation, objectives, expected outcomes and expenditure.
• Liaise with distributors with respect to shipments and stock levels in the respective export markets.
• Liaise and negotiate with shipping lines and agents to secure competitive rates.
• Prepare and update export pricing structures as directed by the Marketing or Export Manager.
• Develop export shipping schedule in liaison with the Customs Department.
• Ensure stock and sales reports are received on time each week.
• Liaise with the IT department to ensure export sales trends are up to date
• Analyze stock and sales reports against orders to ensure the market is always well stocked with product.
• Process all documents for the export of all POP material and ensure receipt of said material by the distributor.
• Perform other related duties as may be directed by the Marketing and Export Manager.
• Assist in public relations matters, as directed by the Marketing and Export Manager.

Minimum Qualifications / Education:

• Degree in Marketing or associated feild

Skills / Experience

• At least 5 years experience in local and export trade/marketing/distribution, preferably in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods)
• Personality/temperament – energetic, competitive, sales/marketing oriented
